Cookie Policy
This policy explains how CalcsBay and its service providers use cookies, local storage and similar technologies.
Last updated: September 8, 2026
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, pixels, web beacons and other identifiers, can remember settings, distinguish browsers or sessions, measure activity and support advertising. The technologies used on a page depend on the services active there and the choices available to you.
Essential and local browser storage
CalcsBay may store a theme preference and local recovery or project data for tools that explicitly offer those features. This storage supports requested functionality and normally remains on your device until you clear it. Blocking or deleting it may reset preferences or remove locally saved work.
Google Analytics 4
CalcsBay uses Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate website usage and help improve the site. GA4 may use first-party cookies such as _ga and related property cookies to distinguish users and maintain session state. It may process page activity, approximate location, browser and device information, and technical information sent with network requests, including an IP address where applicable.
You can learn more from Google's pages about GA4 cookie usage, how Google uses cookies, and how Google uses information from partner sites.
Google AdSense and advertising technologies
CalcsBay has integrated Google AdSense and is preparing to use Google advertising services. Ads may not yet be displayed while the site or placements are under review. On pages where advertising services are loaded, Google and participating third-party vendors may place or read cookies or use similar technologies, web beacons and IP addresses to serve, secure, limit, measure and report on advertising.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on visits to CalcsBay or other websites. Personalized advertising may be used where you have provided the required consent and your settings permit it. If personalization is not allowed, contextual or other non-personalized advertising may still be used.
Consent and regional privacy choices
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland may be asked to choose whether cookies or similar technologies may be used for advertising and measurement, including whether data may be used for personalized advertising. Where a consent interface is presented, use its options to accept, reject or manage the available purposes and vendors.
In applicable US states, an available privacy control may let you opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising as those terms are defined by applicable law. Supported services may also recognize browser-based signals such as Global Privacy Control where applicable.
Managing your choices
Most browsers let you inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage. Doing so may reset CalcsBay preferences or locally saved projects. You can manage Google ad personalization through My Ad Center, use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or review participating companies' choices at YourAdChoices. Blocking cookies does not necessarily prevent all measurement or advertising because other permitted technologies may be used.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when CalcsBay changes the technologies or services it uses. The current revision date will be shown at the top of this page.
