Calculator and tool input

CalcsBay calculators and tools are designed to process ordinary inputs in your browser. We do not require an account, and tools do not intentionally send the values you enter to a CalcsBay database. Some tools let you save projects or preferences locally on your device or download a file that you choose to keep.

Information collected automatically

When you visit CalcsBay, our hosting and measurement providers may receive technical information needed to deliver, secure and understand the site. Depending on the service and your choices, this can include your IP address, requested page URL, date and time, approximate location, referring page, browser type, device type, operating system, language and interactions with the website.

Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand aggregate website usage and improve CalcsBay. GA4 may use first-party cookies and similar identifiers to distinguish users and sessions and may collect information such as page visits, session statistics, approximate location, and browser and device information. Browser requests to Google can also include your IP address. Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Google AdSense and advertising services

CalcsBay has integrated Google AdSense and is preparing to use Google advertising services. Advertising may not yet be displayed on every page while the site or individual placements are under review. Pages that load advertising services may allow Google and participating third-party vendors to use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and similar identifiers to deliver, measure, limit the frequency of, secure and report on advertising.

Where consent has been provided and applicable settings allow it, Google and its partners may use information about visits to CalcsBay and other websites to personalize advertising. If personalized advertising is not permitted, advertising may still be contextual or otherwise non-personalized, and some storage or processing may still be used for measurement, security, fraud prevention and preference management.

Your privacy choices

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland may be shown a consent message that lets them choose whether cookies or similar technologies may be used for advertising and measurement and whether their data may be used for personalized advertising. You can revisit available privacy choices through the consent or privacy controls presented on the website.

In applicable US states, a privacy message or a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control may be made available to communicate an opt-out choice to Google. Supported services may also respond to recognized browser-based opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where applicable. Availability depends on your location and the services active on the page.

You can manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center. You may also opt out of participating companies' personalized advertising through YourAdChoices. These controls do not necessarily stop all advertising or measurement.

Local browser storage

Some CalcsBay features use local storage on your device, for example to remember a theme, retain calculator settings or recover a locally edited project. You can clear this information through available tool settings or your browser controls. See our Cookie Policy for more information.
