Check your local invoice requirements. Invoice requirements vary by country, region, business type and tax status. You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and legal compliance of invoices you create. CalcsBay provides the creation tool and does not provide tax, accounting or legal advice. This notice is never included in the invoice, PDF or print output.
For comfortable document editing, use a tablet or desktop. On mobile, switch between the focused Edit and Preview views.
Professional documents without friction
CalcsBay combines a structured invoice editor, live document preview, accurate financial totals, six reusable styles and local file workflows. Your active invoice is created in the browser, and the generated PDF contains only the information and design you intentionally configure.
Add your business and client, products or services, prices, applicable taxes and payment information.
Choose a design, verify totals and review each page in the live A4 or US Letter preview.
Download the final PDF and keep a .calcsbayinvoice project file when you want to edit it later.
Common invoice information includes seller and customer details, a unique invoice number, issue and due dates, a description of goods or services, quantities, prices, applicable taxes, totals and payment information. Exact legal requirements vary by jurisdiction, business type and tax status, so verify the rules that apply to you.
Invoice numbers help businesses identify and organize documents. Common approaches include chronological values such as 2026-001 or prefixes such as INV-0001. The local suggestion button increments the final numeric part, but it is not an authoritative accounting sequence and you remain responsible for your numbering process.
Payment terms describe when payment is expected. Due on receipt uses the issue date, while Net 7, Net 14, Net 30 and similar terms add that number of calendar days. The calculated due date remains editable when a contract or local rule requires another date.
Tax systems and terminology differ. The editor lets you choose a neutral custom label, use different rates per line and distinguish tax-inclusive prices from tax-exclusive prices. Confirm whether tax applies and which presentation your jurisdiction requires.
An invoice requests payment and normally describes what is owed and when it is due. A receipt records that payment was received. Selecting Paid on an invoice can communicate a user-controlled status, but the generator does not verify or process a payment.
A quote or estimate proposes expected prices before work or supply is confirmed. An invoice requests payment for agreed goods or services. Their content can overlap, but the business purpose and legal treatment may differ.
PDF preserves page size, typography, tables and logo placement across devices. CalcsBay creates a clean file without website controls, ads or a watermark and embeds a Unicode font for international names, addresses and common currency symbols.
Choose Save Editable Invoice to download a versioned .calcsbayinvoice file. When you return, choose Open Saved Invoice, select that file and continue editing the restored seller, client, items, taxes, logo, payment details and design.
