How to Create Certificates in Bulk

Design the certificate once, paste recipient names or upload a CSV/Excel file, map your columns, preview the personalized records and generate individual PDFs in a ZIP, one combined PDF or PNG images. Spreadsheet values override common fields when present, while automatic numbering can create unique padded certificate IDs.

Certificate of Completion

Typically records that a person completed a course, programme or defined activity. Include the recipient, programme, organisation, completion date and any references required for your use.

Certificate of Achievement

Recognises a result, accomplishment or performance. Clear achievement wording and a specific subject make the certificate more meaningful.

Certificate of Participation

Acknowledges attendance or involvement in an event, workshop or programme without implying assessment or accreditation.

Training Certificate

Can record participation in or completion of workplace or professional training. Confirm any regulatory content required by your organisation or jurisdiction.

What Should a Certificate Include?

Common details include the recipient, certificate title, course or achievement, issuing organisation, date, signature and optional reference number. Exact requirements depend on the intended use.

How to Create Certificates From Excel

Place column headings in the first row, import the .xlsx file, map Recipient Name and optional fields such as Course, Date or Instructor, then preview and export. The first worksheet is processed locally.

PDF vs PNG Certificate

PDF preserves page dimensions for printing and sharing. PNG is useful for websites, social posts and image workflows. Both formats exclude website controls, ads and watermarks.

Save and Edit Later

Save a versioned .calcsbaycertificate project to preserve text, design, logo, signatures, QR and bulk settings. Open that file later to continue editing without an account.
